What do pinsters think?

Always wary of posters with small numbers of posts pushing houses as representing good value.

:D I can assure you that I am in no way involved with that house whatsoever. I didn't even say it was good value, merely asking what others thought.

I posted about this house in Artane a couple of pages back - http://www.daft.ie/searchsale.daft?id=658530 but no one commented. It's now gone sale agreed.

Ah, therein lies the problem; this thread is for houses that we spot that look like good value. We have established the Griffith Ave one is not.
If have a WiW question it might be better to make a new thread to discuss a particular property. Also the search function shows there was already a thread on Brookville Artane and you will be sad to know it appeared to go above the asking.

Edit Bog-Snorkler got in before me.

It's kind of weird. What have they done? Incorporated the original kitchen into thr sitting room and made the garage a kitchen? Very small garden for a family.

OK I see it was only built 10 years ago so I assume it was always that way, Odd design, that door in the sitting room looks more like a kitchen back door. There is just something I don't like about it. Maybe I'm a snob and don't like the "A".

Your Right, did not notice that, looking on google map there is basically no back garden at all, the pic of the garden is actually the front garden, to the front of the old garage, now the kitchen.

Wouldn't call 400 grand for 90 square metres in Terenure with effectively no garden value tbh ... Seems overpriced rather than under priced to me, but then most things seem overpriced to me

This one caught my eye - 500K for a decent sized detached bungalow on .2 acre in Sutton ... am I missing something?

No internal photos is always a bit scary -

€230 per sq ft for this, seem like decent value? Great location - but I guess the big unknown is how much renovation costs required...
