What's it worth?

What's the point of being legal, decent, honest and truthful?

I recognise the guy on the horse but who are the two guys in the horse suit? Is that Bertie as the horse's arse and Clowan as the head? Or the other way around? It's hard to tell.

So the motto "Ex libris/marte nostro" translates as "from books"/"by our (own) effort".
Some people are suggesting the "Ex libris" was intended as a placeholder, like lorem ipsum...

Anyway, it seems the standard Haughey coat of arms wasn't enough for CJ - he applied to the Chief Herald to have his own granted in 1966. http://www.independent.ie/national-news/rich-man-poor-man-beggar-man-418268.html

God I'd love to buy the house just to fly the Union Jack over it for a few years.

And the EU twelve stars and the multi-coloured striped gay pride one, just to add to the gaiety of nations

The buildings look quite brutal and ugly in several of the photos.

http://www.rte.ie/news/2012/0511/haughey-family-deny-gaddafi-stayed-at-abbeville.html

And in other news the Gaddafi family have expressed their outrage at an error in the sales brochure which claimed that the north African leader had once stayed at Abbeville. "Call him a despot or a murdering Ba****d but don't associate him with that toe-rag" said the spokesman for the Gaddafi family.

Realistically who would buy this ? We do the Insurance for it & there’s 6 separate Buildings, that’s a hell of a lot of up keep & that’s before you get into all the land;

Main Private Dwelling House including Dairy House (Occupied under Caretaker
Arrangement)
•‘The Lodge’ € xxxx
Private Dwelling House (Occupied)
•Main Stables € xxx
Previously uninsured due to their condition, but were totally renovated in 2008 (Part
Unoccupied)
•‘Greenwood Lodge’ € xxxx
Private Dwelling House (Vacant)
•‘Security Lodge’ € xxx

Why did Manor Homes allow CJ to stay in the house, was this publicised at the time of sale?
