Seems it sold in 2008 at the 4.5m mark.

An even more serious reduction from €7.5m to €4.5m saw Jamestown Court, in Co Westmeath, sold. Again it was a lavishly restored country house, surrounded by well-maintained grounds with a formal walled garden and cottages on 62 acres.

you'd have to think so - especially as it's already resorted and has a beautiful gardens to boot plus "62 acres of parkland pasture"

some beautiful mature trees, plenty of "grand" home fall down here

Hold on to your hats. This one was sold for the shockingly low price of €700k.

9.3% of original value

Here is what €700k buys in Dublin

Looks like a great price. How would it compare against similar houses in the middle of nowhere in say England or France? Is this value on an international comparison, or just by inflated Irish standards.
