The vendor attitude is incredibly "2007"....
This bird won't fly - no interest from market at auction at asking price - so lets increase the asking price and that'll encourage a buyer! Vendor signalling that if it's not bought at that price, it's a missed opportunity - as they are only going to increase the price again, and buyer will have left a bargain "on the table".
