Right, where to start.

550K. No sq ft given.

Claims 6 bedrooms but not a single pic on any bedroom is given!! My initial though is this house doesn't look that big enough for a 6 bed.

We only get pics of outside of house, back garden, front garden, kitchen twice and living room.

FFS. EA making no effort whatsoever to sell this.

Why does this EA always price things €549,950. Whats wrong with 549k or 550k ? Castle's are probably one of the worst around.

Surprisingly, it does actually make a difference with enquiries.
I sometimes use it myself when changing the advertised rent from something like €1,200 to €1,195.

I was sceptical at the beginning and didn't believe it would make a difference, but it does.

that pricing strategy seems to be very common in England, I notice most of the houses on location, location, location are priced like that, havent seen it so much here.

argee that it seems to be a very poor effort from the EA on this property. Photos certainly wouldn't encourage me to view.

Both Castle's and Terry Halpenny seem to take the view that less is more when it comes to whetting the appetite of the buyer. Both use a shitty camera phone to take skewed pictures of houses that have barely got a cursory clean up.

But people still use them - and for decent houses, too.

And right on cue here's today's special from Terry... Great camerawork!

He must be off his box with that price for that house - with NO garden.

The rot might have stopped in SCD but the tiger isn't back.

I was talking to Terry Halpenny the other day about a house he is selling. He told me he's up to his eyes :D

Technically "yes" - but actually in the final stages of exchanging contracts with our purchaser. Am hoping to sign those AND a lease for a good renter this week. (Of course am on the lookout for a home - but don't expect anything to happen anytime soon...)

But until I hear the fat lady singing I won't assume anything is done.
