Ok, probably the wrong place for this, but I thought it might be a good idea to start a thread where we can all, er, try to find that favorite post we read once but now can't find - either because we forgot who posted it, or what thread it was exactly and we also turn up a blank on the search function.

So, if I'm still allowed, I'd like to ask the following: in a post in the last few weeks, there was a graph that showed what Irish bonds were maturing, each year in Euros, up to 2020 (eye-opening for me at the time). Does anyone know exactly where that is?

Maybe we should also include important News articles? The thread could be a repository

95,000 households are supported by rent supplement, which the Department of Social Protection says is about half of the total private rented market in Ireland.

In 2009 the Department paid over €500m in rent supplement.

10% of total residential mortgages in arrears for 90+ days

There was a new scandal everyday around the time of the guarantee for months and each thing was worse than the next
and ive forgotten half of it. Linking them in here would ensure we NEVER FORGET

hmmmm... I can't picture it working. It's kind of natural that threads wander off into cul-de-sacs and die. It's inevitable. If the problem is that it's difficult to retrieve information, could a different search function solve that problem?

What about encouraging 'Subject Tags' for important or specific posts?

Stickied while we think about it.

The search function is pretty sophisticated if you go into the full search.

A thread of "key posts" might be the thing, where each post is a "key post on x topic"

That way the search function could be limited to searching the post subject and it would show up.
