As far as I can see every department is dysfunctional apart from revenue who seem reasonably efficient at their jobs.

That depends. I know their work practices, if they were efficient there would be a major backlash against them, they just work on low hanging fruit. When compared with tax authorities in other countries they are relatively quick and efficient to deal with, that's not setting the bar too high.

We've been through a national emergency according to a retired judge in the IrishTimes
"During the national emergency following the economic crash, Mr White’s salary and pension were significantly reduced.."

Karl Dither ...sorry Deeter ....tying himself up in knots restating the supply problem.

On the one hand he talks about "The hard-pressed parents" ..on the other hand he tells us their gaff is rising "60 times the rate of annual inflation"
and then "Which proves that to get ahead it always helps to work hard - and have rich parents" ...which is it Karl "hard pressed" or "rich"?

Seriously ..I know it's the Indo ...but has anyone any idea what this mouth piece is saying in this piece?
