With apologies to those who've voted thus far: here is a better version of the survey - google docs spreadsheet - which allows more than 100 responses and which still remains anonymous- thanks to the Slasher!

With apologies to those who voted before 3 pm today, I've changed from survey monkey to an anonymous google doc spreadsheet (you don't have to log in, just click on two multiple choice buttons).

Could those who voted in survey monkey now please vote again on the new link above?

This will allow us collect more than 100 replies.

The Pin will have a ridiculously skewed demographic towards the financially literate.

Last time this was done the amount of money knocking around here was frightening.

The survey monkey one was open about a half an hour, before I changed it to the google docs one.

Lots of big income earners reading the pin, judging by the 14 replies received in that short time:

Judging by a small sample of 14 respondants, it looks like 50% of pinsters have a HOUSEHOLD income of 90,000 or over (i.e. an engineer married to a secretary; or a teacher married to a bus driver).

Can I suggest you make the questions optional on Google Docs? I'm happy to answer q1 for example, but not arsed to work out Q2 right now.

Question 1 is your Pre-tax- household income.
Question 2 is your Take Home household income.

To access the results, we have to send you a request, by logging into a gmail account.

I happen to have an anonymous gmail account, but not so easy for those who don't.
