...to more or less complete the set (we don't need one on the Glasraí, do we? :D ).

Anyone have a problem with Sinn Féin's policies?

Their plan for "dialogue" with the IMF: "We know where you live!"

Not sure if its a negative or positive; but their way of getting the banks back lending seems to involve a Sawn-Off, a Balaclava & a Fast motor outside ... :x

I can see them doing quite well this time around. They will probably attract a lot of disaffected FFailures and Pearse Doherty is making a case that a lot of people want to hear made.

I think you're right, unfortunately.

And that fact is a very sorry reflection on both the sorry state of our current politicians, and the sorry state of our electorate.

This country will be fucked in so many more ways than now if SF get near power.

The tyranny of SF's strain of populism, hand in hand with their strain of national socialism, and their ideas about economics and science in general, would be a tyranny far worse than the tyranny of Lenni and Sutherland and the boys, believe it or not.

The only thing I've ever heard of Martin Ferris doing as a TD was running interference when Gerry McCabes killers were released. That's enough for me.

Would be far easier to transfer to them if Gerry Adams wasn't involved.

Arthur Morgan, Caoimhin O'Caoilean and Pearse Doherty are all fairly impressive. But I think the MNC's would be fairly fearful of a large SF presence in cabinet.

Nah, they wouldn't need to touch the MNCs. Sure isn't there 500Billion worth of gas and oil off our western shore.

Simple nationalisation of our natural resources and we'll be Norway :)

I do not like their left wing policies, but there is one thing that makes me wonder. If IRA link is real thing, then they seem people that are really involved in Irish case - it would suggest that they are ready to go beyond just talking and do some real actions, even at personal risk. This is highly unusual in politics. Why they are so disliked in the south then? Why many of southerners discard them even before reading their policies?

Needle - you've totally Trolled this thread.

It's either going to get locked, Pistoned or seriously edited if anyone else responds to this.

Back on topic or this thread disappears.
